How Klick Services collects, uses, stores, and protects personal information across our websites, client engagements, and support operations.

1. Who we are

This Privacy Policy explains how Klick Services Inc. and its regional delivery operations (collectively, “Klick Services,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handle personal information.

We provide software development, systems integration, cloud and infrastructure services, managed IT, and related professional services from delivery hubs including Visakhapatnam (India), North York (Canada), and Melbourne (Australia).

2. Scope of this policy

This policy applies to personal information we process through:

  • Our public websites, landing pages, and contact forms
  • Sales, proposal, and onboarding communications
  • Client delivery portals, support channels, and NOC operations (where personal data appears)
  • Recruiting, careers, and vendor onboarding processes
  • Events, newsletters, and marketing communications you opt into

Enterprise client systems

When we process personal data solely on a client’s instructions as a service provider/processor, the client’s agreement and instructions control. This policy describes our own practices as a business/controller for data we collect for Klick Services operations.

3. Information we collect

A. Information you provide

  • Identity and contact details (name, email, phone, company, role)
  • Message content from inquiries, RFPs, support tickets, and meeting notes
  • Billing and contracting details needed to prepare or perform agreements
  • Recruiting information (resume/CV, work history, interview notes) when you apply
  • Preferences for communications and meeting logistics

B. Information collected automatically

  • Device and browser type, approximate location derived from IP address
  • Pages viewed, referring URLs, timestamps, and basic diagnostics
  • Cookie and similar technology identifiers (see Cookies section)

C. Information from others

  • Referrals from partners or colleagues
  • Public professional profiles you choose to share
  • Vendors that support hosting, analytics, communications, or payments under contract

4. How we use personal information

We use personal information for legitimate business purposes, including to:

  • Respond to inquiries and provide requested information
  • Evaluate opportunities, prepare proposals, and negotiate contracts
  • Deliver, support, secure, and improve our services
  • Manage accounts, invoicing, audits, and corporate governance
  • Recruit, evaluate candidates, and manage workforce operations
  • Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, or security incidents
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements
  • Send service notices and, where permitted, relevant business updates

6. How we share information

We do not sell personal information. We may share information only as needed with:

  • Service providers who host infrastructure, email, CRM, analytics, collaboration, or payment tools under confidentiality and security obligations
  • Professional advisors (legal, accounting, insurance) under duty of confidence
  • Affiliated delivery teams across our regional hubs for follow-the-sun support
  • Authorities when required by law, court order, or to protect rights, safety, and security
  • A successor entity in connection with a merger, acquisition, or reorganization, subject to appropriate protections

7. International transfers

Because we operate across India, Canada, and Australia, personal information may be accessed or stored in more than one country.

Where we transfer personal information internationally, we use appropriate contractual, organizational, and technical safeguards designed to protect the information in line with applicable law and our client agreements.

8. Retention

We retain personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including to:

  • Provide services and maintain business records
  • Meet legal, tax, accounting, and audit requirements
  • Resolve disputes and enforce agreements
  • Maintain security and fraud-prevention logs for a limited period

Typical retention examples

  • Inquiry/lead records: generally up to 24 months after last meaningful contact, unless a longer period is needed for an active opportunity or legal hold
  • Contract and billing records: generally for the engagement term plus applicable statutory periods
  • Recruiting records: generally for the recruitment cycle and a limited period afterward as permitted by local law
  • Security logs: retained for operational necessity and then deleted or anonymized

9. Security

We implement administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information and our risk profile. These may include access controls, encryption in transit, least-privilege practices, monitoring, vendor due diligence, and workforce confidentiality obligations.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We work to prevent unauthorized access, but we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Cookies and similar technologies

Our websites may use cookies and similar technologies to operate the site, remember preferences, understand traffic, and improve performance.

Email privacy@klickservices.com with “Privacy Request” in the subject line and enough detail for us to verify and respond. We may need to confirm your identity before fulfilling a request. We will respond within the timelines required by applicable law.

12. Children

Our services and website are directed to businesses and professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact privacy@klickservices.com and we will take appropriate steps.

13. Third-party sites and services

Our website or communications may link to third-party sites or tools. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. We encourage you to review those policies before providing personal information.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect operational, legal, or regulatory changes. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will change when we do. Material changes may also be highlighted on our website or communicated to active clients where appropriate.
